“The legend of the Wandering Jew.” The Jew flees the cross and spends, this is no legend, all of time wandering, wondering, not daring to consider that he might have been wrong about the man called Yeshua.
Oh. Well, the Swedish government is behaving madly–I agree. THOSE particular Liberals in Sweden are crazy, but I do not agree that Liberalism is Madness. I DO say, though, that there seems to be more madness in the world than sanity.
That would be over-simplifying my position. My idea of ‘evil’ is different from yours. Murderers, torturers, rapists, fascists are evil–to me. Not religious people or agnostics or atheists; not Liberals or Conservatives or Capitalists or Socialists. If I were to label myself politically I would call myself a socialist who lives in a capitalist country. I think Conservatism and Capitalism is harmful, but not ‘evil.’
That is madness….God help Sweden.
This isn’t Liberalism, it’s madness. I agree with Slimjim.
Karen, did SJ say “This is not liberalism BUT madness?”

Karen, yes, liberalism is not madness in itself, merely evil – because it rejects God, which, naturellement, you will deny.
I disagree on two counts: Who says liberalism rejects God? Rejection of Christianity is not evil.
I mean, rejection of Christianity, or Judaism or Catholicism or Islam etc, etc is not evil.
Would I be correct to say that your dictum is “One man’s meat is another man’s poisson?”

“My idea of ‘evil’ is different from yours.”
Is your idea the right one,or, I ask again, is your meat my fishon?
Is my idea of ‘evil’ the right one? Yes. Now I’m being brave or blunt or foolhardy! Or–evil!
Sounds fishy.
I am a slippery fish.
